Berita Harian (English: Daily News) is a major Malay language newspaper in Malaysia. Its Sunday Edition is called Berita Minggu. It was founded on 31 August 1957, which also marks the date of Malaya's independence[1]. The newspaper was printed in broadsheet format until 31 December 2007, when the newspaper decided to be printed in tabloid starting 1 January 2008.
